also bought this awesome paper (rt 66) which I am going to make into a collage and frame it. it's absolutely brilliant! I want one of the walls in my house a dedication wall with a mural of this! haha! it's just a great photo.

For me, I have a TON of clothes & shoes and it is super hard to organize everything due to my room being incredibly small and zero storage so I love those posts when I see other closets and do-dads because it gives me some new ideas.

here is just SOME of my jewelry that I own. I tend to go scavenging in my moms closet a lot but I find the BEST stuff in there. Mama, you've got great taste!

I decided to do a full on military style photo-sesh with myself for lookbook :}.
more pictures shall come later, but it was super fun! it's always like playing dress up and creating a scene or like stepping out of your comfort zone into another world... oh how I love makeup, clothes, shoes, colors, jewelry, everything!

Also I am super excited because I won the a great pair of combat boots on ebay, so I guess you can say I was inspired :].. I can't wait to receive them!!

I have a ton of aspirations and I want to remain true to myself and get back to my roots; celebrate who I am.

I am an artist and I have abandoned that part of me slightly.. I feel lonely without my pencils, my sketchbook sitting in the corner, my needle & thread in the closet, and my ideas trapped and put aside yet another day..
I've been trying to set aside time for the things I enjoy but the pressures of daily routines, and as of right now job hunting yet again has pretty much put me in a standstill!

I really am determined to get back that way of life... especially the late night sketches which never end until about 4:00 in the morning when the world begins another day.

I know this is a brief post, but it is my frustrations with both things I can not control and things that I can control that drive me mad.
all I know is I LOVE super hard, and I only want the best for the world and its people. time to make my way through once again!

I just have to say that this is incredible!!! The pieces above are just awesome!! I can only imagine how much work was involved in creating them. I just had to post it! Bravo for making fabulous items!

I'm not a HUGE Alice in Wonderland fan BUT this is really beautiful work!
I am taking an Intro into Jewelry & Metalwork class that allows me to create and learn how to use various types of metals, and different mediums with metals to create one of a kind pieces. It is a brilliant class, and I could not ask for a better way to spend my Tuesdays from 8:30-1:10. In fact, I wish it were longer. This class has really inspired me to create, lose control, and to dive head on into my work as an artist/jewelry maker. I strongly suggest anyone and everyone just to take a class on welding/soldering, metalwork, jewelry, class- even if that entails your local craft stores class they offer on the weekends. It is really an inspiring hobby.

things have been a tad bit stressful lately...
These past 2 years have been a huge transition for me because I really was sheltered to the world; not by my parents, by choice. I was really afraid to put myself out there and to do things for myself-especially because of my anxiety.
Lately I have been really giving thought to how I'd like to live someday and how I'm living now. I've been reading The Happiness Project: Gretchen Rubin, and it is such a feel good book. The stories she talks about regarding her family and her life in general-she really puts it all into perspective; just how I would love to! I always consider self improvement super important because the way you act/react to the world determines how others treat you, and how you live your life. It's a chain reaction of feelings- very much like a piece of gum that has been chewed and passed along to other people leaving a bad taste in their mouth. Negativity is that piece of gum, and I am seeing it more and more now.
I'm dealing with certain people right now who are unhappy and they should not be- because they are great people. (not that I am saying bad people should be) no no no, I just mean that they deserve so much more than what is coming to them at this moment in their life. I love to help people I truly do, but it is bringing me down. I have never felt so worn out in my entire 20 years. I am beginning to separate myself from it-especially from those people and yet I still feel worn and torn. I feel bad if I don't help and I separate myself from those people, and yet I feel worn when I stand in and help when I am needed; which in this case is a lot. It is such an unwanted feeling. The kind that when you are happy you say to yourself: "I hope this happiness doesn't leave me-not yet." It's always in the back of your mind but you overlook it. on purpose.
The Happiness Project is really starting to make me feel okay with the idea that I can not always be there, and those feelings are normal. I am starting to see that you can not change anyone for the better.. The only person you can change is yourself and maybe others will follow.
